Founded by Colombian native Maria Alejandra in 2020,  Karü Chocolate is grown on Colombia's Eastern Plains, known for its remarkable biodiversity and beautiful growing environment for chocolate. 

"We have a 20,000-hectare protected forest reserve that includes lush forests, morichales, lagoons, rivers, and savannah plains. We take protecting nature seriously, that's why hunting and fishing are not allowed in our reserve or the surrounding areas. We're proud to be part of the international Jaguar corridor ... Dwaar was founded by Indian immigrant Rajani Konkipudi.  She took a bean to bar chocolate making class that changed everything for her.  "Within two years, the science, technology, passion, and madness behind chocolate making has created 'Dwaar Chocolate'. The “doors to the chocolate world” hence swung wide open. "
